SEOs Noticing Google Penguin 4.0 Recoveries Now

I am writing this late Saturday night, as I am offline Monday and Tuesday but we know since Wednesday Google started pushing out Penguin recoveries that should be rolled out by around now. We know the initial Penguin 4.0 launch showed a minimal impact if any.
It seems like some are noticing the recoveries with Penguin 4.0. Although these recoveries do not seem as extreme as the initial Penguin 3.0 penalty. Why? Probably due to the slower rollout and how those links are probably still devalued - so all that is removed is the demotion, but the value from those links are long gone.
In any event, here are some quotes from this ongoing WebmasterWorld thread around Penguin recoveries:

There certainly seem to be some examples of recovery, but I don't think we're even remotely close to all of P3 being lifted based on what people are reporting.

We started to see recovery in USA for our site selling software. It was hit several times by Penguin. We got many our long tail keywords getting +10 + 20 bonus and many of them now visible on first page.

Glenn Gabe shared some charts from his clients:

A tale of two Penguin 4s. One more extreme than the other, but search visibility changes for sure (both up & down). pic.twitter.com/OhNMtRQFjh

He also shared some ranking charts:

Marie Haynes who does a ton of Penguin work also agreed with Glenn:

She actually worked up a detailed Penguin 4.0 case study to show this in more detail.

Here is another tweet from Glenn:

Mozcast has been in the 100 degree weather since around Wednesday, which shows stuff is going on here:

SERP Metrics shows a flux pattern too since Wednesday:

Same with AccuRanker:

But places like Algoroo and RankRanger seem somewhat calm since Wednesday.
Did you see a recovery? Take our new poll on that here and tell your friends to take the poll please:
